Show Frozen Food Group Tours Basin Plants Officers of the Utah Frozen Foods Locker Association made a good-will tour of the Uintah Basin on March 17. The first stop of the tour was at the Duchesne Frozen Foods at Duchesne. Du-chesne. Elden R. Wilcken, owner-operator, accompanied the grouD on the tour. Tolboe's Lockers at Myton was the next stop. At Roosevelt, the group called call-ed at Ashtori's and Pink's Lockers, Lock-ers, discussing business trends and methods with the operators there. . The group visited Uintah Packing Company and Al Grey's Lockers in Vernal, and stopped for a few minutes at the Vernal Museum. Association officers included in the good-will tour were: Ray-mori Ray-mori Woodbury, president, Logan; Log-an; Jack Brimhall, vice-president. Draper; Roy Free, past president, Sugar House; Junior Dixon, Director, Richfield; Andrew An-drew Cartright, director Tooele; Sherman Lloyd, executive secretary, sec-retary, Salt Lake City; Maurice Jensen, director, Huntington; and Harold Timothy, treasurer, Roosevelt. Locker operation problems and plans for the annual convention con-vention to be held in May were two chief topics discussed by the association officers and locker lock-er owner-operators at a dinner in the Frontier Grill that evening. |
