Show Relief Society Bazaar Raises Funds For Farm The Relief Society sold lunch at the chapel Tuesday. Nov. 20, the proceeds from it was to go to help finance the ward farm. Mrs. Minnie Angus, Beatrice Lundberg, Maude Anderson Beth Mangum and Inez Squires assisted as-sisted in serving. During the day a bazaar was held and many useful use-ful and beautiful articles were sold. A good crowd was out to participate. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young and family, who recently returned from Van Nuys, Calif, and have been staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston, have moved to Roosevelt so their children may enroll in school. A group of man and boys of the ward met early Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing morning and did some work at the chapel, and also on the ward farm. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner entertained at a Thanksgiving dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gardner and family, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, Delmar Gardner and three daughters, of Ft. Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cook and daughter. daugh-ter. Wendell Johnson made a trip to Salt Lake City during the week. Howard Todd, who is attending attend-ing the A.C. at Logan, was home for Thanksgiving. Mr. arid Mrs. Herbert Moiy-neux Moiy-neux and family, of Draper, spent Thanksgiving holidays at the home of Mrs. Molyneux's mother, Mrs. Erma Stolla. They were former members of the Ballard Ward. Darrell McMullin and Steven Eldredge were visitors with some school boys at Provo last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Buetler and eight children, of Dayton, Idaho, have been recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Buetler's sisters, Mrs. Earl Winn and Mrs. David Lundberg. A group of fifteen Seminary students accompanied by their instructor, Wendel Johnson, held a cottage meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle Monday evening, Nov. 19. Beverly Squires, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squires, who is attending school in Og-den, Og-den, was home to enjoy Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Mark Rasmussen, who is employed em-ployed at Provo, and Miss Claudia Crane, of Salt Lake City, spent Thanksgiving with Mark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. Lorraine Hullinger, Bryce White, Glen Womack and Lynn Bracken, students at B.Y.U. spent Thanksgiving holidays at home. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn and daughter and Mrs. Effie Winn went to Rexburg, Idaho to spend the Thanksgiving week with relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and family, of Altonah, have been recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Bing-ham. Supt. Harold M. Lundell, of Vernal, was a visitor at the AM terra School last Wednesday. Mrs. Ida Phillips, principal of the Alterra School was confined to her home Tuesday, Nov. 20, with flu. |
