Show On Way Home From African Mission Mr. and Mrs. 'Shelby Lisonbee have received word from their son, Elder S. Ronald Lisonbee, that he had sailed from Capetown, Cape-town, South Africa, on Friday, Nov. 23, enroute home. Elder Lisonbee has completed complet-ed a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Lat-ter Day Saints, in the South African Mission Field. He will travel up the east coast of Africa, Af-rica, visiting many places of interest along the way, arriving in South Hampton, England, on December 14. He and his traveling travel-ing companion will visit a week in England and France before resuming their homeward trip aboard the ship Queen Mary. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Tassell Tas-sell entertained Thanksgiving Day at a family dinner. Those enjoying the occasion were L. J. Marchant, of Peoa, father of Mrs. Van Tassell, Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Marchant and children, of Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Verl Allman, of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Cooley and children, ! Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell. Tas-sell. ' Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rasmussen, of Roosevelt, were Thanksgiving Day dinner - guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Shelton. Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Jennings had as Thanksgiving Day guests their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mills and daughter, Sandra, of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Merl Jennings and children, Gordon and Linda, of Neola. Sunday callers at the J. Alma Smith home were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young and Perry Young, of Mt. Emmons. Bishop and Mrs. Vernon Moon and little daughters, of Hanna, and Elwood Carter, of Tabiona, visited Sacrament meeting here Sunday evening. Mr. Carter and Bishop Moon were the speakers, speak-ers, and Mrs. Moon favored the congregation with a vocal solo. Rulon Liddeli, JoAnn Shep-hard, Shep-hard, Carol Ann and Emma Lee Brady motored to Provo Sunday afternoon to take Emma Lee to resume classes at the B Y U. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddeli were host and hostess to a large group of relatives on Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day. Enjoying the feast were Mr. and .Mrs. Abe Liddeli, Mrs. Sadie Brundage, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wilkerson and son, Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald and family, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Beeler, all of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shepherd, Shep-herd, Joe, Joann and Billie. Dale Neilsen spent several days last week visiting with Dean Beal in Price. Out-of-town people attending the dance in honor of Dale Neilsen Neil-sen and Rulon Liddeli Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar La-Mar Richman, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rasmussen, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross, Mr. and Mrs; Loren Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Neilsen and daughter, Ramona, of Arcadia; Mrs. Lyle Young and Miss Dorthy Hansen, of Mt. Emmons; and Mr. and Mrs. June Young, of Cedar City. Shelby Lisonbee and Wanless Shields of the Duchesne Stake i High Council visited Sunday School and Sacrament Meeting at Utahn Sunday. |
