Show Indian School In Active Season Students of the 3rd-6th grades at the Uintah Indian School saw the movie "Thunderhead," Monday Mon-day evening. Guests included the public school students who are boarding at the school. The Girls Club (Blue Ribbon) sponsored by Alvin Duley, of the Uintah Indian School, meets every ev-ery other Monday evening. The. object of the Club is to learn the better things of life and how to apply them to their every day living. The president of the club is Cecilia Cornpeach; secretary, j Nancy Lee Nick; treasurer, Mary i Lou Sibello; vice president. Til-. lie Tapoof. Committee chairmen are Mar'lyn Jim, refreshments, and Vernita Tapoof, recreation. The Cutch boys from Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne sponsored an Indian dance at the Uintah Indian School gym Thanksgiving evening. eve-ning. Refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chamber-lin Chamber-lin spent the Thanksgiving holidays hol-idays in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Adams and family spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tavapont entertained Alvin Duley at dinner din-ner on Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon spent Thanksgiving at Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant with their daughter. Nancy, who is a student at Wasatch Academy. Father Joe Hogben sailed from Germany on Nov. 23. He is supposed to land in New York on December. 1. With good weather and a quick release from military service, he should arrive in Whiterocks about December De-cember 10 or 13. |
