Show Sophomore Tests Planned At 'U'; Notice Is Given I Tests by which the University of Utah evaluates its program of I general education and the progress pro-gress of its freshmen and sophomores soph-omores are being administered at the University. The tests, known as the National Na-tional College Sophomore Testing Program, were administered Saturday, Sat-urday, Nov. 3, and are scheduled sched-uled again Nov. 10, beginning at 8:30 a. m. and lasting until about 3:30 p. m. - Students usually take these tests during the final quarter of their sophomore year or at the completion of their general education ed-ucation requirements. One of the examinations measures the students achievement in English. If he doesn't make a satisfactory showing in the test, he must take an upper division course in English composition. Most students have been notified no-tified by mail of their test assignments. as-signments. Last quarter, sophomores soph-omores who have not received the notice should call at the registrar's reg-istrar's office for information. |
