Show Family Meets On Thanksgiving Day Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis and two small daughters an.d Clifton Whiting, Mrs. Dennis' brother, le't Wednesday for Salt Lake City, going by way of Provo to take home Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dennis, Syerl's parents, who had come to Myton to attend funeral fun-eral services for their grandson, Max Jenson. The Dennis party then went on to Salt Lake City to enjoy a family gathering on Thanksgiving Day. All of Mr. Dennis' sons Clayton, Clay-ton, Kay, Gail, with their wives and families, and Norman, who came from Pasco, Washington, gathered at Clayton's home for the first time that the family members have all been together for several years. Allan Babcock. who has been employed by the Nelson Tank Lines out of Vernal, .spent a Thanksgivings vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock. He left Friday for Craig, Colorado, where he will be stationed on the same job. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, were dinner guests on Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Earl Fowler Jr. and Buster visited Wednesday at the home of his father. Earl Fowler, Sr. They returned home Thursday morning, taking Francis Fowler with them for a short visit. Thanksgiving guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Snyder Sny-der were their daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bunce B. Hall; of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fredrickson, of Roosevelt. Another daughter. Miss Iona Snyder, came from Provo. where she attends Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. Mrs. Iola Sands and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Roy Mott, and her small son made a quick trip to California to bring1 Bob Sands home for the Thanksgiving holiday. hol-iday. Bob has been employed there during the past few months, but expects to remain here now. Pvt. Doyle Lisonbee, who has been home on leave, left Saturday Satur-day for Camp Roberts, Calif., where he is attached to Co. A, 38th Inf. Division, U. S. Army. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Woolf are Mr. and Mrs. Roberts Rhodes and Mrs. Lela Shaw and daughter. Sandra, who came from Parker, Arizona, for the Thanksgiving holidays. Franklin Peterson and Russell Gingell, students at Snow Col-1 lege at Ephraim, spent the Thanksgiving holiday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson Pet-erson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell. r Mr. and Mrs. Harden Labrum enjoyed a visit from Mrs. La-brum's La-brum's mother and sten-father Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Johnston,' who came from Salt Lake City to spend Thanksgiving. Miss Nina Babcock, who is attending the U.S.A.C. at Logan, Lo-gan, visited her parents, Mr and Mrs. Lionel Babcock, during dur-ing the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Carter and family brought Jack Gingell home Saturday. He has been receiving re-ceiving medical attention in Provo Pro-vo and has been staying at the home of his daughter and son-in-law there. Boye Clark, who has been on a two-week training cruise as a Naval Reservist, returned Monday Mon-day evening from San Dieeo California. ' Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb returned Friday evening from a 10-day vacation trip to California. Cal-ifornia. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck went to Salt Lake City Sunday morning to join the family in celebrating Mr. Linck's father's birthday anniversary. Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd were Mr. and Mrs. George Funk and daughter, Joan Miss Alice Todd, A. M. Todd and Miss Nancy Todd, who came from Duchesne for the Thanksgiving holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman and children spent Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing Day with Mrs. Krissman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bastian at Neola. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson on Thanksgiving Day were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb and Mrs Bliss Lott. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cooper and daughter, of Salt Lake City, were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schuckers. L. M. Parrish accompanied his son, Wilmer Parrish, of Ballard, Bal-lard, on a business tup to Salt Lake City, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Harris and Mrs. Lydia Peatross, of Myton, My-ton, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge, of Duchesne, visited in Salt Lake this week with Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs. The group all have birthdays near the same time and celebrated with a birthday dinner at the Krebs' home Monday. Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edwards were Mrs. Pearl Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Max Horrocks and daughter, Melanie, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roberts, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Edwards and family, Myton; and Mrs. Ella Roberts, Roosevelt. |
