Mobile-Blood Unit Mere Mar. 4 Preparations are nearing completion com-pletion for the mobile-blood unit un-it of the Region International Blood Center, which will visit I Roosevelt on March 4, from 10 a. m. until 2 p.m. and will be located at the Roosevelt LDS stake house. The American Legion Auxiliary Auxil-iary is sponsoring organization organiza-tion for the program headed by Mrs. Bliss Eldredge, chairman. Persons interested in signing up for the blood donations are asked to contact any member of the American Legion Auxiliary, or application blanks can be obtained at Neilson Jewelry Co., Roosevelt Hotel or the Sinclair Service. Blood donor requirements are as follows: 1. Frequency Mut be an interval in-terval of 3 months between donations. do-nations. 2. Ages Limits of 18 through 59. (18 to 21 requires parent's signature). , 3. Weight Minimum weight I 110 pounds. j 4. Immunization No immunization immun-ization (shots) in past 2 weeks. 5. Health Restrictions Recent pregnancy or major surgery. 6. The final responsibility for acceptance or rejection of a donor rest with the physician in charge. 7. Food Donor must not eat fatty foods for four hours prior to donation. Black coffee, tea, fruit juices, fresh fruits, dry toast with jelly are encouraged. |
