Show WLiteccks Madeena Smith Boy Scouts Help Old People Here Boy Scouts Dennis Murray, Bobby Oberhansly, Orion Smith and David Moosman chopped wood for the old people among whom was Henderson Atwine who has been ill for some time. Wendell Johnson brought some of his Seminary students to Whiterocks to give the program pro-gram at meeting, Sunday. A birthday party was held at the home of Francis Crozier last Friday for Don Simmons, Wilmar and Wade Parrish. An oyster supper was served. The Polio dance and food sale held Wednesday at the ward house was fairly well attended. at-tended. Mrs. Roberta Crozier visited her sister, Vione Parrish, at Roosevelt, . Saturday. . Supt. H. M. Lundell and Miss Stringham held a meeting with the teachers and principal of the Whiterocks school Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Brough were called to Roosevelt, Monday Mon-day on account of the illness of their daughter. Mrs. Adams spent three days home from school with the flu. A crew from the school board installed a new gas tank at the Whitrocks school to replace the leaky one. Howard Montes opened a new restaurant in Whiterocks Tuesday. |
