Show Young Couple To Wed Gloria Peck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peck, formerly of Ballard, received her marriage mar-riage license at Vernal last week to marry Paul Hardinger, of Roosevelt. John Smith, of Vernal, took care of the furnace and pumps at Alterra school on Tuesday, replacing George Bracken, who has been ill. There has been a shortage of water at the school for two weeks. Due to the Roosevelt stake conference on Sunday, no Sunday Sun-day School was held in our ward. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Johnson John-son attended Sacrament meeting meet-ing at Neola, Sunday, Feb. 15. F. O. Lundberg, from Tooele, spent a few days last week visiting vis-iting his sons, Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg and family and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lundberg at Independence. A talent show was held at the Alterra school, Friday afternoon af-ternoon and the children gave some very good parts. Dianne and Barbara Hullinger Hullin-ger were home from the A.C. at Logan to attend -their sister, Lorraine's reception. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bartlett from Provo, spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Bartlett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge. |
