Show Central Utah Project Pushed By Delegation (n Washington Congress will be asked to authorize au-thorize full completion of the Central Utah Project in a proposed pro-posed law to be presented to senators and representatives of four western states March 7 in Washington, D. C. Joseph M. Tracy, state engineer engi-neer and member of the Upper Colorado River Compact Commission, Com-mission, brought this information informa-tion back to Salt Lake City, Monday. Mr. Tracy, along with E. R. Callister, attorney general, and J. A. Howell, special counsel, attended a meeting of the compact com-pact commission legal committee commit-tee Friday in Denver, The Central Utah Project would include a gravity diversion diver-sion dam at Flaming Gorge and storage and power generating dams at Echo1 Park and Split Mountain. Pumps would carry water to irrigate portions of Duchesne and Uintah counties. |
