Show Top Til VIen Team Entered By Ward The Myton ward M Men basketball basket-ball team will participate in the first game of the season, according to Russell. Gingell, athletic director direc-tor of the Myton ward. The league opened the season at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Elementary gym, Monday evening. eve-ning. Mr. Gingell reports this ward has a very good team this year and hopes to make an excellent record in the season's games. i Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe took Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Creviston to their home in Salt Lake City, Sunday, Sun-day, returning by way of Provo, where they visited Sunday evening, eve-ning, returning to Myton Monday morning. BIRTHDAY PARTY Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris Sun-Hay Sun-Hay were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge of Duchesne'. The occasion oc-casion was in celebration of the birthday anniversaries of Mr. Partridge Part-ridge and Mr. Harris. In the evening eve-ning they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Wallis Dennis. Cards were enjoyed en-joyed and a delicious lunch served to close the festivities. Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Felter were Mrs. Lee Felter and Dan Felter. Mrs. Rose Gilbert was hostess at a family dinner on Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing day. Her guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Ed Murphy and family fam-ily of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert and children and Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Gilbert and son, of Arcadia, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Goodrich and sons, of Tridell, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert and son of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd entertained enter-tained at dinner on Thanksgiving day with the following guests present, pre-sent, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith and daughters of Hanna, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Bliss Lott and Lee Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and Children spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Salt Lake City as guests at the home of Mrs. Lott's mother. They were accompanied by Mrs. Olga Solomonson who visited her sons, John and Jennings Solomon-son Solomon-son and families. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Hancock and family and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hancock and children were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mar D. Mitchell at Upalco on Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cooper and : children and J. W. Jenson were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jensen. Jen-sen. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. ToLboe were guests on Thanksgiving day at the home of Mrs. Tolboe's grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Sem-ken, Sem-ken, at Gusher. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Creviston of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Creviston is Mrs. Tolboe's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gingell and small son spent Thanksgiving at the home of Mrs. Gingell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Mc-Conkie Mc-Conkie at Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Monks and children came from their Colorado ranch last week. Mrs. Monks and chilren remained to visit her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas, while Calvin returned to Colorado to attend to their ranch duties for the present. Mr. and Loryn Ross and family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend shopping and visiting Mrs. Ross' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hair, in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bingham and children, of Murray, were Thanksgiving Thanks-giving visitors at the home of Mrs. Ole - Peterson, Mrs. Bingham's mother. |
