Show Church News The MIA Special Interest classes of the stake are planning a party for December 6 at the Mt. Emmons Em-mons ward. Free refreshments, dancing and entertainment are on the agenda, with a preview of the coming year's "newest fashions" under the direction of Mrs. Rondo Harmon. . Speakers at the Sunday night meeting at Mt. Emmons ward were High Councilman Burton Tew, and LaVer Bentley. The Mt. Emmons Ladies' chorus, under the direction of Rita Hansen, sang a special number, "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked." The Moon Lake stake M.I.A. Thanksgiving dance was held in Mt Emmons Thursday night, with the Altamont orchestra setting the tempo. The dance' was under the direction of Mrs. Hazel Goodrich and Max Hartman. FIFTH BIRTHDAY Master Floyd Farnsworth celebrated cele-brated his fifth birthday with a party Nov. 26. An hour of games and stories was followed by the opening of gifts. Ice cream, cake and punch were, then served to: Kelly and Denny Bearden, Ronny Harmon, Boyd Thacker, Nick Stevenson, Carma Thacker, Sandra San-dra Kolb and Kenneth Farnsworth. |
