Show Marion talis Assigned To IDS Stelie Conference First Meeting Is At 6:30 Saturday Evening Elder Marion D. Hanks, youngest young-est member of the First Council of Seventy, has been assigned to preside pre-side over and address the final 1955 quarterly conference of the Roosevelt stake', Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3 and 4. According to Hollis G. Hull.inger, stake president, the opening session ses-sion of the conference will be at 6:30 Saturday evening in the form of a priesthood leadership meeting. All Melchizedek priesthood leaders of the various quorums',- bishoprics, high councilmen, ward clerks, and those working on Senior Aaronic committees are' urged to attend. A special meeting is being planned plan-ned at 8:30 for all male members of the stake and their wives over 21, and those under this age who hold the office of an Elder. After the business meeting, which will be addressed by Elder Hanks, a social including refreshments will conclude the Saturday schedule. Seventy To Meet A special meeting for all members mem-bers of the 162nd Quorum of Seventy Sev-enty and stake and Indian missionaries mission-aries has been called for 8:45 a.m. Sunday at the' stake house. Burgener will furnish the music for the Sunday sessions. Several special speaking assignments assign-ments have been made for the Saturday Sat-urday evening and Sunday sessions to members of the stake. It is also expected that some returned missionaries mis-sionaries will report on their missions. |
