I in the Ballard LDS chapel f or Edward Dewayne Jenkins, two-day two-day old son of Edward J. and Betty Giles Jenkins, who died Thursday at 4:45 p. m. in the Roosevelt hospital. Bishop Golden Gol-den Collins conducted the ser vices. The infant is survived by his parents; a sister. Jaele; and three grandparents, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins. Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. James Giles, Myton. BLANCHE CECELIA LaROSE Funeral services Were conducted con-ducted Friday, Mar. 2. at 2 p. m. in the Roosevelt Baptist church for Mrs. Blanche Cecelia LaRose, 63, under the direction of the Rev. Nolan Beaird. pastor pas-tor of the Vernal Baptist church. She died of a lingering illness, Feb. 27. in the 'Ft. Duchesne hospital. The progTam at the services was as follows: Prelude and postlude music, Mrs. Francis Perryman;' vocal duets. Rex Taylor and daughter; two numbers, num-bers, "Does Jesus Care," and "The Old Rugged Cross." by the choir of the Roosevelt Baptist Bap-tist church. Rev. Beaird gave the scriptural reading, prayer, and preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne cemetery, under the direction di-rection of the Dillman mortuary. mortu-ary. Six nephews served as pall bearers. ELIZA HELEN DICKSON Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Roosevelt LDS chapel on Saturday. Mar. 3. at 2 p. m. for Mrs. Eliza Helen Dickson, 76, who died at the Roosevelt hospital, Feb. 28. following fol-lowing a lingering illness. Bishop Bish-op E. J. Nixon of the Roosevelt second ward conducted the services. ser-vices. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Bishop Nixon. Ralph Shields and the Rev. Nolan Beaird, of Vernal. Prelude and postlude music was arranged and presented by Mrs. Lela La-brum. La-brum. A quartet composed of Mr. . and Mrs. Robert Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dili-man, Dili-man, sang two numbers "I Need Thee Every Hour," and "In The Garden," accompanied by Mrs. Olen Perryman. Miss Esther Wogec sang a vocal solo, "Whispering Hope," accompan- ied by Mrs. Labrum. Pallbearers were David, Paul and Marion Felter, Truman, Mitchell and Hyrum Domgaard. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetery, under the direction of the Dillman mortuary. i |
