Show Mrs. Qarda Seeley Relief Society Presents Program The Relief Society gave the program at services Sunday evening. eve-ning. The theme was. "If You Love Me, Keep My Commandments." Command-ments." Opening songs were, "Do What Is Right," and "The Lord is My Light." The welcoming address was given by Pres. Lucille Winkler, followed by scriptural readings by Calista Cook, Berniece At-wood, At-wood, Vivian Powell, Myrle Lis-onbee, Lis-onbee, Belle Bird, Orie and Thelma Cook; vocal solo. "If You Love. Me, Keep My Commandments," Com-mandments," Beth Winkler; remarks, re-marks, Edith Burton, stake Relief Re-lief Society visitor; closing song, "Let Us All Press On." Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Seeley and Mrs. Betty Lou Goodrich left Saturday for Salt Lake City to spend a week visiting with relatives. They will also visit folks in Ogden before returning return-ing home. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich Good-rich took Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich to Salt Lake City on Tuesday, where Mrs. John Good-rich-underwent a major operation. opera-tion. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich and John Goodrich returned home the same day. Reports are that Mrs. Goodrich is getting along satisfactorily. On Thursday Leland Goodrich, Good-rich, Ross Monson and John Goodrich went to Salt Lake City. Ross Monson is receiving medical treatment and John Goodrich went to visit his wife, who is in the L.D.S. hospital. The group returned home Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winkler are the parents of a baby son born March 1 in the Roosevelt hospital. Both mother and baby are getting along nicely. This makes three girls and three boys for the Winklers. The Bluebell M.I.A. joined the Mt. Emmons M.I.A. at their ward Tuesday night. The occasion occa-sion was hobby night. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bird and son, of Salt Lake City spent the week-end here with Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Nielson returned home Friday after spending the winter in Salt Lake City, where they went for Mr. Nielson's health. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Seeley, of Ogden, visited here Saturday with relatives. Mrs. Lola Coleman is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hill-ery Hill-ery Workman. Her husband is now serving in the U. S. Army. Mr. and Mrs. Wane Workman have gone to Salt Lake City, where Wane has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich Good-rich and boys, Morris and Drew, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich, Good-rich, left Friday for Pocatello, Idaho, to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Goodrich. |
