Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Death Claims EVIrs. Elvina Ewel! Mrs. James W. Powell left Friday evening for Salt Lake City ' after receiving word of the death of her mother, M-s. Elvira- Lillian Bigelow Ewel!., who died Friday ' at 9:30 a. m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. Mrs. Ewell was. born in Gun-lock, Gun-lock, Washington County, ci August 27, 1876, a daughter of Asa Elijah and Elvira Jane Bige- low. She was married to, William Wil-liam Walter Ewell on July b, 1894 in the Salt Lake L D a Temple. He died Oct. 26, 1950. They were former residents of Mt. Emmons and were well known in Bluebell. Survivors are a son. walter L Ewell, Bluffdale, Utah; five daughters, Mrs. Verona E. Bab-cock, Bab-cock, Gridley, California: Mrs. Vivian E. Powell, Bluebell; Mrs. Lucille Larsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs Thelma Kemp, Holladay; Mrs. Lois E. Washburn. Draper; a brother, John Bigelow. San Francisco; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia B. Hansen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alice B. Hansen. Arcadia, California; 56 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Funeral services "were conducted con-ducted Monday at 2 d. m. in Nibley Park Ward. Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery. |
