Show S$(tonali Mrs. Ethel Beebe Legion Groups RoM Dec. Meeting The American Legion and Auxiliary held their meeting for December on Saturday, Dec. 3 in the Legion Hall. After separate sep-arate business sessions, the groups joined for a delicious iunch which was served by the .lostesses, Mrs. Max Allred and Mrs. Harry Fieldsted. Enjoying the occasion were M:-. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Palm, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump, Mrs. Lola Jones, Mrs. Mary Carroll, Mrs. Louise Case, Preston Allen and Clyde Lambert. Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond McMillan and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fieldsted. of Bonet. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray, of Bluebell called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield Friaay afternoon. James Lloyd, of Ioka, was an Altonah visitor Friday Mrs. Nephi Chatwin and son, Buff, of Tabiona, visited at th3 home of their daughter and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Albert Clark, during the week. Ray McMillan, Dick Jessen of Boneta, and Max Anderson of Bluebell, completed a quon set building for Clinton Bowdei. during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Clenty 'Ames Dallas and Glen Ames returned home Saturday from Meadow, where they were called Wednes day due to the illness of their mother, Mrs. Dora Ames. They report Mrs. Ames is somewhal improved. Bill Ostler, of Roosevelt, and Tuff Reay, of Ioka, were in Altonah Al-tonah on business Monday. Kelley Riley made a trip tr Salt Lake City and Bountiful Thursday on business. He visited vis-ited relatives before returning home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowden and family, of Roosevelt, visited recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden. Their son, June, returned from Korea a short time ago. Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred a', companied by Mr. and Mrs. Mav Allred. of Boneta, visited in Vernal Monday with their moth er, Mrs. Edith Allred and othei relatives. Mrs. Ethel Fisher so?nt sev nral days visiting in Salt Lakt City last week and this week Raymond Dump and Glen Anderson An-derson are in Arizona cutting Christmas trees. They delivered thsir first load to Salt Lake the latter part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Allred made a trip to Salt Lake City Sunday for Mrs. Allred to re-"ive re-"ive msdical attention. Mrs. Hiio Mitchell, of Upalco. Mrs. Allred's mother, accompanied them. W. B. Stoddard, of Randlett. 'as a business visitor in Altonah Thursday. |
