MORE LOCAL STORE windows win-dows are taking on that Christ masy look. Noticed the manger scenes in J. C. Penney and Christensen windows. The Roosevelt Roos-evelt Hotel has a beautiful scene in the window really worth your time to stop and take note of the attractive windows in town they indicate a lot of work and originality. Small Frye's fireplace would enhance any youngster who stops to look at the dolls. The "Peace on Earth" at Bradshaw's really catches cat-ches one's eye, as well as the Harmston Supply toy window SPEAKING OF XMAS, you can't help but get the Xmas spirit when you step into the lobby of the Roosevelt Theatre. It's all aglitter with pine boughs, red bows and shiny brilliant ornaments. The scene on the large mirror adds a completed touch. EIGHTY-ONE YEARS old and still has no fear of getting her feet of the ground that's spry Mrs. Florence Re'ese, who took off by plane this week for Las Vegas, where she will spend the winter months with some of her daughters and a son. BAND STUDENTS ARE still talking about their successful concert given at Union High gym last week so is the crowd that attended. A lovelier sight was never witnessed as the girl members marched on the platform plat-form in their formal dresses of all shades.
