Show 4-H Club Reports SCISSOR SISTERS LEETON The Scissor Sisters 4-H Club held its first meeting! Wednesday, June II. at the home of Lorena Hamaker. The following officers were elected: Carol Springer, president; Kay Bowen, vice-president; Carol Jean Hall, secretary; Larane Long, song leader; Catherine Hall, recreation leader; Maxine Taylor, reporter. Club leaders are Lorena Hamaker Ham-aker and Reva Hall. Wednesday, June 18, we met at 2 p. m. at the home of Reva Hall for our second meeting. All the girls started on their first articles and had a very enjoyable enjoy-able afternoon. Maxine Taylor, reporter FANCY FIXERS IOKA The Fancy Fixers 4-H cooking club met last Friday at 2 p. m. at the home of Nadine Faucett, one of the leaders. The other leader is Roean Lemon, who will have the girls next Friday for a meeting at 2 p. m. Six members were present and made soup and worked on their books. Joyce Zobell, reporter FINE FEEDERS OF FINE STOCK IOKA Thursday night at 8 p. m., the 4-H Club boys met at the home of Clive Campbell to elect officers and decide on the above name for their club. Kent Robison, reporter ROSY STITCHERS The Rosy Stitchers 4-H Club held its first meeting at the home of Mrs. Frank Yack, the leader, last Friday afternoon. They commenced their sewing and elected officers. President is Maurine Yack; vice-president, Melinda Young; secretary, Ida Andrews; reporter, Jean Roller. The next meeting will be held next Friday at 3 p. m. at the home of Ida Andrews. Jean Roller, reporter (Held from last week) BOBBIN WINDERS The Bobbin Winders 4-H Club held a short meeting at th2 home of Mrs. Nyle Buxton on Wednesday, before leaving for the Junior High School, where they continued their project. The business of the club was discussed, and a new member, Nadene Ottosen, was added. She will be assistant activity chairman. chair-man. LUCKY TRAMPS CLUB ARCADIA Louis 'A. Jensen, Duchesne county agent, was in Arcadia on Wednesday, June 11, to check the livestock projects for the Lucky Tramps 4-H Club. He visited each boy's home with our leaders, Mrs. Grace Larsen and Mrs. Betty Behunin, and talked to the parents and boys regarding the feeding of our animals. Clifton Larsen, reporter BUSY STITCHERS The Busy Stitchers 4-H Club held its third meeting Thursday, June 19, at 10 a. m., at the home of their leader, Mrs. Hol-lis Hol-lis Hullinger. Mary Ellen Blaine gave a health talk and Elva Broderick gave a demonstration on the sewing machine. We worked on shoulder protectors, laundry bags and show bags. There were twelve members present. We had an outdoor party at City Park on Friday evening, June 20, where games and refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed by all. Nadine Chugg, reporter FIRESIDE CHAT Approximately twenty-five.
