Show Sluektl Mrs. Garda Seeley Celebrate Wedding Anniversary in S.L. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Atwood and family went to Daniels Canyon Can-yon Sunday to attend a family gathering. The special occasion celebrated the 55th wedding anniversary an-niversary of Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Sim-eon Atwood, of Salt Lake City, LaVon's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Atwood were married June 22. 1897 in Vernal. Theyt later moved to Mt. .Emmons, where they mad 3 their home for 30 years, and then moved to Salt Lake City. They have five children. Mrs. Vista Wall, of Mt. Emmons; Leslie Les-lie W. Atwood, West Jordan; La Von R. Atwood, Bluebeil; Mrs. Lois Thacker, Sandy; and Mrs. Barbara Hardman, Salt Lake. They also have 30 grandchildren grand-children and five great grandchildren. grand-children. Mrs. G. W. Kendle and daughter, daugh-ter, of Salt Lake City, have been visiting for the past week with Mrs. Kendle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jackson. They returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Porter Merrell and family, of Duchesne, visited here Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. O. Larsen and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington. ! Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook went to Neola on Monday to attend funeral services for a relative. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich Good-rich went to' Vernal Saturday to attend funeral services for a niece who was killed by an automobile while crossing the street in front of her home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wonnacott. of Provo, visited one day last week at the Bernard Winkler home. Their four small children remained here for a longer visit. Miss Pauline Winklr returned to Provo' with the Wonnacotts. Mrs. Nellie Hancock, of Salt Lake City and Mrs. John Moon, of Riverton, visited on Mondiv with Mr. and Mrs. Claud Ma-. thews. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy and children visited Mrs. Timothy's Timo-thy's mother, Mrs. Osier, of i Roosevelt, on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Sorensen and baby, of Spanish Fork, spent last weekend with Wesley's mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Mrs.' R. E. Miller, of Monte-, rey Park, Calif, was an overnight over-night guest' Tuesday of Mrs. W. G. Gentry. Mrs. Clarence Jones and children chil-dren spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Wayne Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Ercel Johnson and family, of Ballard, and Mrs. Chester Matheson and chit-1 dren, of Myton, and John Lem-1 on, of Peoa, were dinner guests of Mr.' and Mrs. Reed Lemon on Sunday of last week. L. E. Potter, of Myton, transacted trans-acted business in Ioka Thursday. Thurs-day. Elizabeth Gentry came from Salt Lake Sunday to spend some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.. G. Gentry. Mrs. Virgil Ferguson and son, Jack, came from Tooele Sunday to spend a few days at their ranch. Mrs. Myrtle Nelson left Friday Fri-day - for her home in Spring City. She had visited here for some time. W. G. Gentry and James Lemon Lem-on sent their cattle to the summer sum-mer range last week. ! Miss Florence Percival left Monday for Provo, where she has accepted a position in 'ths First Security Bank in that city. She recently returned from a mission for the L D S Church. Sunday evening she was a speaker speak-er in the Roosevelt Ward Sacra ment meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy went to Tabiona Sunday. Howard Lloyd, who has been attending school at the U S A C during the past winter, returned last week to help his, father on the farm this summer. Charlyn Stone, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend witn her parents. She attended Sunday Sun-day School while here. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lloyd and family left Saturday for a 2-week vacation trip to California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. Gam Lloyd and son, of Murray, are here to spend two weeks. fGarn will replace Doyle on the Hi-Land Dairy run while his brother is away. . . Mr. and Mrs. Russel Robison and Mrs. Eliza Benson were AT- tonah visitors Sunday. A fireside chat was held at the Percival home Sunday night.
