Show VARIETY CLUB HAS I PARTY FOR HUSBANDS The Variety Club members had a weiner roast at the rodeo grounds on Friday, June 20. Special guests were their husbands. hus-bands. ' Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Her-shel Iorg Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Thacker, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Thacker, Mr. and Mrs. LaVear Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Hartman. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert visited ' friends in Elko, Nev., from Thursday to Sunday. Mrs. LaVerda Powell cared for their children during their absence. Mrs. Pete Nielsen, of S-slt Lake, visited a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allen, of Vernal. - George Case, George Chapman, Chap-man, Barton Bennion and Lots Sadler visited in Provo and Salt Lake on Saturday and Sunday of last week. Evan Bennion went to Salt Lake on Monday, . where he underwent a major operation. Elwin Boswell has been released re-leased after four years of military mil-itary service and is at home with his parents. He had attained at-tained the rank of sergeant. Mrs. Myrtle Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Arnold and three children, of California, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen and Edgar Thayne. They all visited Moon Lake, accompanied accom-panied by Delyse Hansen. Mr and Mrs. Roy Thacker left last weekend for e two-week two-week vacation. Alton is staying at the Wesley Thacker home during their absence. Welby Johnson, of Elsinore, visited ' with his cousins, the Hansens, over the weekend. He returned home Sunday, taking Karen Hansen with him. She will visit relatives in Elsinore for a week. Mrs. Baxter has returned from an extended visit with relatives rel-atives in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohi-man Mohi-man were weekend visitors in Mt. Emmons. They are spending the summer in Salt Lake whil.3 Mr. Mohlman is attending school. |
