Show I Second Annual . . Bigger i Better Is Promise Of Kiwanis Fireworks Display Under the direction of Floyd Peterson, president, the Roose-veit Roose-veit Kiwanis Club last night announced plans lor its second annual July Fourth fireworks display, which will again be' presented at the Roosevelt Rodeo Ro-deo Grounds at 9 p. m. on juiy 4. According to Mr. Peterson, last year's display was voted the outstanding thing ever to come to the Uintah Basin, and thij year's display will be bigger and better than ever. Over $400 has been invested in all kinds of displays, which is estimated will consume approximately IY2 nours. Several special committees have been appointed by Mr. Peterson and will go all out .0 do a job of entertaining the hundreds of people who are expected ex-pected to jam the grounds again this year. It was estimated that between 1500 and 2000 carloads of people witnessed the spectacle spec-tacle last year, coming from all over the Basin. |
