Show Breaks Arm Stanley Wardle, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle, fell from a piece of playground equipment at the UBIC and suffered suf-fered a broken arm. He is recovering re-covering as rapidly as can be expected. Mrs. Delores H. Eldredge, of Provo. spent last week here visiting vis-iting friends and relatives. Clyde Hacking was holder of the lucky number which entitled en-titled him to the calf given away on the last night of the UBIC. Guests at the John Olsen home during the past week were his sister, Mrs. Nora Okey and her daughter, Mrs. Mary Rich, of Modesto, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Duncan Dun-can and daughter, of American Fork, spent a few days here at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Duncan. Miss Lucille Hutcheon and Mrs. Ada Hutcheon, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here. DeLane Hutcheon, who has been here for several weeks at the Jack Leavitt home, returned re-turned with them. Mrs. Don Gardner and son, of Salt Lake City, have been visiting vis-iting here for the past two weeks. They returned home last Thursday. Miss Elna Allred, of Salt Lake City, is visiting here for a few days. Mrs. Don Davis and two children, chil-dren, of Vernal, spent the weekend week-end here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Mills. A daughter, Leslie, remained re-mained with them for a few days. Miss Jenette Smithson, who has been working in Provo, visited vis-ited here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smithson. She returned Sunday. Frank Horrocks, of Artesia, was an overnight visitor last Thursday at the home of his nephew, Victor Horrocks. Mrs. Boyd Sorenson and son, of Scipio, spent a few days here last week. Darol Gardner, who is employed em-ployed near Monticello, spent the weekend here with his family- SLUMBER PARTY The Mia Maids were guests of Mavie Dye last Monday evening eve-ning at a slumber party. Those slumbering (?) were: Moha All-red, All-red, Alene Peterson, Gay Clow-ard, Clow-ard, Charlotte Henrie, Arlene Burson, Faith Dye, Karen Bas-tian, Bas-tian, Elaine Duncan, Arvella Eksund, Karen Gardner, and the'class teacher, Dorothy Luck. Mrs. Richard Olson and three children spent a few days in Salt Lake City last week. |
