Show SUNDAY SPEAKERS Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Murray, Ina Elling-ford, Elling-ford, Theron Robb, all of Whiterocks, and High Councilman Council-man and Home Missionary Albert Al-bert Harris of Roosevelt. A vocal vo-cal solo, "A Teacher's Prayer," was sung by Melissa Anderson, accompanied on the piano by Carolyn Stoddard. Other visitors attending Sunday's meetings were High Councilman Marion Bowman of Roosevelt, Paul L. Howard, presidents of the Elders' El-ders' quorum, of Salt Lake, and Darrel Stoddard, of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. John Paddock, of Provo, Mrs. Maude Heal, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dan Oaks and two sons, of Vernal visited Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mrs. Heal and Mr. Jensen are brother and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Oaks and Mrs. Paddock Pad-dock are his nieces. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis Lew-is and family, of Vernal, were visitors Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Richard O'Niel and family, of Price, spent the weekend visiting relatives here. Bishop Ralph Durfee and a group of fine Star Scouts and three Tenderfoot Scouts enjoyed enjoy-ed a week at the Mapeldale Scout camp. The group left Sunday evening and arrived, home Saturday evening. They visited the Timpanogas Cave and the M.I. A. Home. Bishop Durfee's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jabaz Durfee are managing the home this summer. Mr. md Mrs. Calvin Jorgen-sen Jorgen-sen and daughter, Mrs. Nina Clark, and their son, Kent Jor-gensen, Jor-gensen, attended the Rasmussen reunion at Keetley Park. Their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Van Dyke, and family, of Lewiston, Utah, also attended the reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgen-sen Jorgen-sen had their entire family home for their son, Grant's, wedding. It was the first time in four years. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Searle and son, of Montana, have moved back here to make their home. Merril Rasmussen and Riley Blackburn have been helping Ronald Searle remodel his home on Green River for the past week. |
