Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Two New Babies Bring Family Joy Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gilbert are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby son, born August 2 at the Roosevelt, Hospital. Mother Moth-er and baby are doing fine and LeGrand is wearing a big smile. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Larsen received word of a new grand- son, born to Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Freston, Aug. 3, at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. All concerned are fine. Mrs. Freston will be remembered re-membered as Vivian Larsen. Bernard Ellison, of the State Department of Agriculture from Salt Lake City, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. They accompanied accompan-ied him to Vernal that evening. Marion Ross and sons, Leon and Larry made a trip to Salt Lake, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty and family made a trip to Salt Lake Tuesday, where Mrs. Lusty had a medical check-up. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Evans, of Bountiful, spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of their nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Lorril Carpenter Carpen-ter returned to' their home in Salt Lake after taking care of the Charles Jensen chores while the Jensens went on a trip. Mrs. Merlynn Bodily, of Rand-lett, Rand-lett, and Donna Ross, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent a few days at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. ,' - Glen Gilbert and daughters, Carolyn and Maxine, of Othello, Wash., visited with relatives and friends here during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Warden Olsen and son, Kim, left for Salt Lake, where they plan to make their home. John Capson, Jr., of Long Beach, Calif., arrived Friday to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Capson, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Keller and son, Bruce, went to Salt Lake, Saturday, returning home Sunday. Mrs. Guy Taylor, son, Teck, and daughter, Evelyn, of Richmond, Rich-mond, visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross on Monday. Mrs. Taylor is Mrs. Ross' niece, the former Vonda Wall. Marva Mae Horrocks spent a few days visiting her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Elsie D. Workman in Vernal. Bryant Anderson and sons, Bry, Roger and Gary, of Bountiful, Boun-tiful, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. Hol-gate. Mrs. Elsie Bird, Mrs. Gladys Capson, Mrs. Barbara Gilbert, Miss Mildred Bird, Mrs. Betty Evans and Miss Donna Larsen attended Primary Preparation meeting at Duchesne, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Capson and family, of Salt Lake, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. ana Mrs. Merle Ross and other relatives rel-atives on Sunday.
