Show Notice Of Bond Sale OF TOWN OF ALTAMONT. UTAH WATERWORKS REVENUE BONDS SERIES JULY 15. 1954 $6,000.00 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY HERE-BY GIVEN that the Clerk of Town of Altamont, Duchesne County, Utah, will receive sealed seal-ed bids for the following described des-cribed bonds until Saturday, the 21st day of August, 1954, at 8 o'clock P.M., at Town Office, Of-fice, in Altamontj Utah, at which time and place the Board of Trustees of said Town will publicly open and consider any sealed bids received for the purchase of Town of Altamont Alta-mont Waterworks Revenue Bonds, Series July 15, 1954, in the aggregate principal amount of $6,000.00. The bonds of said issue shall be dated July 15, 1954, consist of 20 bonds in the denomination of $300.00 each, numbered consecutively con-secutively from 1 to 20, both inclusive, bearing interest until paid at a rate or rates not exceeding ex-ceeding six per centum (6) per annum, payable semi-annually on the fifteenth days of January and July of each year, both principal and interest being be-ing payable, without deduction for exchange or collection charges, at the Commercial Bank of Utah, Roosevelt Branch, Roosevelt, Utah, all of said bonds maturing serially in regular reg-ular numerical order, $300.00 on the fifteenth day of July in each of the years 1957 to 1976, both inclusive. Bonds numbered 9 to 20, maturing ma-turing on and after July 15, 1965, shall be subject to prior redemption in inverse numerical numer-ical order, at the option of the Town, on July 15, 1964, or on any interest payment date thereafter there-after prior to maturity, at a price equal to the principal amount thereof with accrued interest to the redemption date, together with a premium of four percentum (4) of the principal amount thereof. Notice No-tice of redemption shall be given giv-en by the Town Treasurer, in the name of the Town by publication pub-lication of such notice at least once, not more than sixty nor less than thirty days prior to the redemption date, in a newspaper news-paper of general circulation in the Town, and a copy of such notice shall be sent by registered register-ed mail at least thirty days prior to the redemption date, to the original purchaser of said bonds. Payment of these bonds and the interest thereon shall be made solely from, and as security secur-ity for such payment there is pledged, a special fund created by ordinance into which the Town will pay from the net revenues to be derived from the operation of its waterworks system, sys-tem, after provision only for all necessary and reasonable expenses of operation and maintenance main-tenance of said system, sums sufficient to pay when due the principal of and the interest on the bonds, and to create and maintain a reasonable reserve for such purpose. The bonds of this series constitute a first lien upon the net revenues of said system. Bidders are required to submit sub-mit unconditional sealed bids for all of said bonds specifying the lowest rate or rates of interest in-terest and premium, if any,, at or above par, at which such bidder will purchase the bonds. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside "Proposal for Waterworks Water-works Revenue Bonds, Series July 15, 1954," and addressed to Gene Baxter, Town Clerk, Altamont, Utah.
