Show $oka ! Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson and family and Mrs. John Johnson, John-son, of Provo, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry Saturday. Mrs. Elmer Yergenson was hostess to the members of the Thursday club, Oct. 12. The ladies la-dies enjoyed the afternoon and dainty refreshments were served to Margaret Lloyd, Edith Gentry, Gen-try, Gladys Dart, Lucy Edwards Olive Sorenson, Mattie Morten-son Morten-son and Violet Gentry. Club guests were Mrs. Leo Hauter, Mrs. Smith Johnson and Phyllis Phyl-lis Yergenson. Tuesday evening Florence Percival attended a farewell party givin in her honor at the home of Roosevelt Stake Sunday Sun-day School Superintendent and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger. A full-course full-course chicken dinner was served, after which the remainder remain-der of the evening was spent playing games. Mr. and Mrs. J. Winn, of Ft. Duchesne, spent last week with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sorenson. Elmer Inlay attended to business busi-ness matters In Salt Lake last week. Attorney B. L. Dart, of Price, was in, Ioka on business Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Percival and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott, of Provo. visited their narents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Percival, Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. They also attended the farewell party for their sister, Florence. Betty and Bobby Droloc, of Price, visited Sunday with their aunt, Mrs. Arevilla Lemon. Joshua- Timothy came in and spent the weekend with his family. fam-ily. He is working in Ogden. Eliza Robison and Zelma Lloyd, Stake Relief Society officers, of-ficers, visited the Relief Society at Leota Thursday and the In dian Relief Society conference at Whiterocks Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Morrill spent the evening Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger. Mrs. Alice Angus, of Lapoint, and son, Reed Angus, of Blyth, California, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Angus. Tom Notestine, of Salt Lake City, was here on business Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Evan Percival, Archie Benson, Garn Lloyd and Florence Percival. A farewell party was held in the ward hall for Florence Percival, Per-cival, who entered the mission home in Salt Lake City Monday. |
