Show Miss Jean Rasband, of Heber City, was a weekend guest of Miss Treva Ann Gabbert, daughter daugh-ter ,of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Gabbert. Mr. Gabbert is manager man-ager of the local Safeway store. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Harri-son and daughter, Nancy, are spending a week in Yuma, Arizona, Ari-zona, where they went to attend at-tend a convention of the veterans vet-erans who were stationed there during World War II. Sgt. Ray P. Johnston spent a few hours Monday with his mother, Mrs. Nancy K. Johnston and other relatives. He is stationed sta-tioned with the Air Force at Hamilton, California. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Redmond returned to Roosevelt Tuesday after spending the past few weeks in Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Redmond has been under treatment at a hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snyder, of Vernal, Miss Loya Benson and Reid Hullinger were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mrs. Snyder's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Ray McDaniel, of Richmond, Calif., visited this week with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Oberhansley, of Neola. CORRECTION: Mark Swain has opened a photography shop in Boulder, Nevada, not Boulder Colorado, as was stated in last week's paper. Mr and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan Buchan-an and children, and Mrs. Bertha Ber-tha Herbert, a guest at the Buchanan Bu-chanan home, spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake City. The Reverend A. Walton Roth D.D., will conduct services Sunday at the Myton Presbyterian Presbyter-ian church at 11 a. m. All are invited to attend. Anyone wishing a baptismal or christening ceremony are requested re-quested to contact Rev. Roth in ; Myton Saturday, Oct. 21. I Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rowley Row-ley and son, Tommy, Ruth and Marilyn Wills, and Jay and Vern Swain accompanied Ted Olpin to Mesa, Arizona. Friday, as he took the body of Ervin H. Rowley there for burial. Er vin was killed Wednesday while working on the Cortes project near Casper, Wyo. Mr. and Mrs. Rowley visited with relatives before returning to Roosevelt Tuesday evening. The Navy has recalled Verl A. Murphy of Etna, Calif, to active duty. He reported at Treasure Island, Oct. 9 Verl is a son i.? Lawrence Murphy of Edgwood, Calif. He was born in Upalco and attended attend-ed school in Myton, Ballard and Alterra. He is married and the father of three girls. j A girl was born to Louis and Elzida Van Reed at the Ft.
