Granger To Visit Duchesne On Tuesday, Oct. 24 Another promirnsnt political figure, Congressman Walter K. Granger, has announced his schedule will bring him into the Uintah Basin next, Tuesday, Oct. 24, where he will spend the day in the interest of his candidacy for reelection to the lower house of the national congress. A native of Cedar City, Mr. Granger is seeking re-election on his record, and, according to Bennie Schmiett, Duchesne county Democratic chairman, he will meet with and solicit votes in this area on that premise. The congressman will arrive at Duchesne at 10 a. m. for a meeting, and will then move to Tabiona where a noon luncheon lunch-eon meeting will be held for people of that area. In the afternoon after-noon Mr. Granger and other state and county leaders will spend some time at Myton and Neola with a 6 o'clock dinner meeting scheduled at the Frontier Fron-tier Grill in Roosevelt. Tickets will be sold for the Roosevelt dinner and may be obtained from Mr. Schmiett. Congressman Granger will wind up his day's campaign in Duchesne county at a free picture pic-ture show and rally at the Al-tamont Al-tamont Theatre in that community. com-munity.
