Show Pioneer Dies Tom Shisler received word of the death of his brother. Bert Shisler's wife at Mobley, Miss. Bert Shisler was an early pioneer pio-neer of the Ballard territory and he and his wife visited at the Tom Shisler home last summer. sum-mer. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell White and family, of Provo, wert.- the weekend guests at the home 6f Mr. and Mrs. Alden White. Mrs. Clyde Bartlett, of Prove, Pro-ve, spent the 4th of July weekend week-end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond El-dredge. El-dredge. Her husband is taking a four weeks' training1 for the Air Force Reserve at Castle Air Force Base, Merced, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Shisler and daughter visited at the nome of Mr. and Mrs. Mont S. Poulso'n at Duchesne on Sunday. Mrs. Cecil Jenkins and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Simper Sim-per and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts, Mr. and Mrs. Junior Jun-ior Betts and family, were among those from Ballard who attended the Homecoming at Tridell, July 4. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bracken attended the dance Friday evening July 3rd Glen Womack, Darrell Mo (Mullin, Ralph O'Niel and Tommy Tom-my Chandler are enjoying a fishing trip to Fox Lake. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Marshall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Eiton Kettle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bracken, and Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken enjoyed a picnic lunch north of Bennett, after watching the ball game at Bennett. They also attended the rodeo at Neola in the afternoon. |
