Show This Week's RECIPE . . . A refreshing dessert for the summer months, and one that can be made the night before serving is "Hawaiian Delight," an ice box recipe given by Mrs. Lynn Poulsen. HAWAIIAN DELIGHT ' Serves 8 to 10 lb. or 45 marshmallows Vz cup milk 1 cup pineapple juice V2 lb. or 30 graham crackers 1 cup crushed pineapple Vz cup chopped nuts Cut marshmallows in quarters. quar-ters. Add milk and heat in top of double boiler until marshmallows marsh-mallows are melted. Add pineapple juice and blend. Add crushed graham cracker crumbs and pineapple. Press in pan and place in refrigerator re-frigerator for 5 or 6 hours. Cut into slices and serve with whipped whip-ped cream. Garnish with mara-chino mara-chino cherry. |
