Show Primary Takes Part In Program The Arcadia ward Primary was represented in the Fourth of July celebration in Duchesne with a float as "Miss Muffit Sat on a Tuff it." Miss Muffit was Wendy Gilbert and the float was pulled by her brother, Lamar La-mar and Roland Capson. In the program two parts were presented, a skit and a quartet by Evelyn Mullins, Gayle, Rulon and Naomi Gilbert. Gil-bert. Mrs. Marvin Richens and family, of Salt Lake City, are living in the McKenna house for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Art Moon aid daughters spent a few days visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Rich-ens. Rich-ens. Leon Ross spent a few days in Zio'n's Canyon. On his way home, Saturday morning, he had the misfortune to week the car he was driving. Leon escaped without injury. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Smith, of Salt Lake City, visited Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bird left Monday for Eureka, Montana Mon-tana to visit Mrs. Bird's brother. She will also visit two sisters in Oregon before returning to San Diego, Calif. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert was blessed bless-ed at Fast meeting Sunday. He was named Randy Howard. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert visited Sunday at Tabiona with Mrs. Gilbert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nello Hickens. |
