Show Our Boys In The Service WILLIS (BILL) DART Willis (Bill) Dart, Seaman on "The Manchester" C. L. 83, has been in Korea and elsewhere since last February. While The Manchester was being refueled in Hong Konk, China, port, two Dart boys, who were oh the refueling re-fueling ship and third cousins of Bill received permission to go on board The Manchester and make themselves acquainted acquaint-ed with him. He in turn visited them on their ship. The boys have never met, but have kept up a correspondence. The boys, Donald and Marvin, of Enders, Nebraska, are sons of Mr. Orville Dart's cousins. Bill has been away from the United States since last January I 24, when he left from Long Beach. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Dart, Sr.. of My-ton, My-ton, and his wife, nee Julann Kielbasa, lives with her parents in Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kielbasa, Mrs. Orville Dart, Sr. and Mrs. Willis Dart said '.farewell" to Bill when he left Long Beach in January. I The crew of the Taussig recently re-cently enjoyed a three-day -est and recreation period in Hong Kong. They had an opportunity to visit the famed Tiger Baum Gardens, Repulse Bay, Lido Beach and many other places of interest. |
