Show Utah Bank Women Plan For Summer Conference The Utah group of the Association Asso-ciation of Bank Women will hold summer conference sessions at Roosevelt,- Utah, on July 18 and 19, Adele B. Larsen, assistant assist-ant cashier, The Continental Bank and Trust Company, and chairman of the Utah Group, announced in Salt Lake City, Thursday. A highlight of the Conference will be an informal banquet at the Frontier Grill on Saturday, July 18th. Featured speakers will be Charles H. Dixon, president pres-ident of the Utah Bankers Association, As-sociation, who will talk on "Vital "Vit-al Aspects of Banking," and Rex Curry, Business Tribal Manager Manag-er of t)he Ute Indians, whose subject will be "The Ute Indian In-dian and His Problems." Mrs. j o. Orser, assistant manager of the Commercial Bank of Utah, Roosevelt Office, will preside pre-side at the banquet. The concluding session on Sunday will be presided over by Miss Larsen, and "Customer Relations" ' and related topics will be discussed. After the Sunday session, the group will tour the town of Roosevelt. The committee in charge of arrangements includes Miss Larsen, Lar-sen, Mrs. Orser and Mrs. Janet B. Walker, secretary of the Utah Group, who is assistant cashier of the First Security Bank, Ogden, Utah. The Association of Bank Women Wo-men is a national organization of over 1600 women bank officers offi-cers in the United States. There are eighteen members in the State of Utah. Mrs. Orser is a charter member of the Utah Group and also heads the entertainment enter-tainment committee. |
