FIRESIDE CHAT following church Sunday evening, eve-ning, the Roosevelt Ward M-Men M-Men and Gleaner Girls convened at the John A, Gilbert residence to enjoy a fireside.-Guest speaker, speak-er, James E, Bacon, spoke on the Uintah-Ouray Indian missionary mis-sionary work, The evening terminated with frozen salad and cookies served to approximately twenty - five guests. He is now employed with the Sterns-Roger Manufacturing company in Myton, CELEBRATES 75ih BIRTHDAY Mrs. Peter Anderson was pleasantly surprised on her 75th birthday anniversary, June 28, ; when she received a telephone j call from a friend in Sweden, ' a Mr. Logstrom, extending his well-wishes and congratulations. She also received birthday cards I and gilts from friends and relatives rela-tives in Sweden. Among friends who called and left gifts of flowers were Mrs. Lynn Orser, Mrs. Mary Orser, Mrs. Louie Galloway, and Mrs. Lamont Neilson. NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Mrs. Don Crittenden was hostess host-ess to members of the Neighbor-I Neighbor-I hood Sewing club at her home Tuesday evening, June 27. A delicious salad course supper, sup-per, followed by an evening of sewing provided relaxation for fourteen members.
