Show E1yton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish An overnight camping trip on the Whiterocks river, Tuesday and Wednesday, furnished enjoyment en-joyment for 21 M.I. A. girls, chaperoned by Mrs. Bill Preece, Jr., Mrs. Glen Gilbert, Mrs. Forrest Hancock, Mrs. Nathan Allen, and Mrs. W. O. Burgess, their teachers. Members of the Friday Bridge clubs and guests were entertained entertain-ed June 30 by Mrs. W. H. Linck. Present were Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Rex Lamb and Mrs. Wm. R. Harris. High score piize was won by Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Cluff, former Duchesne residents now residing in Long Beach, Calif., visited friends in Myton last week while enroute to Vernal to visit Mrs. Cluff's sister, Mrs. Albert Al-bert Lippcnhardt. They left their three daughters in Duchesne Du-chesne to visit another daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Wells Rasmussen. L. E. Potter returned last week from a month's vacation in Coloradp, Kansas, Ohio and Indiana. During his absence he attended the 501h anniversary reunion of the class of 1900, Kansas State College, Manhattan Kansas, his alma mater. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and daughters, Margo and Airs. Rex Lamb and her baby daughter, daugh-ter, spent a few days last week in Salt Lake City. Margo continued con-tinued on to Ephraim for a visit vis-it with relatives, while the other oth-er members of the party returned return-ed home Wednesday. Mrs. W. E. Burton left Wednesday Wed-nesday fpr Midvale where she joined her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Biltz, and family fpr a trip to Portland, Port-land, Ore. to visit another daughter. George Calvert, of Salt Lake City, and his niece, Hannah Clark, of Los Angeles, Calif., former Myton residents, spent Thursday here with friends. While in Myton they were guests at the A. M. Todd home. Mr. and Mrs. Giles Wood and sons, Merrill and Chall, returned return-ed Thursday fiom a two-week vacation trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. John Uresk and baby son, and Mrs. James By-water By-water and daughter, LaRee, spent Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dean and family, of Midvale, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Darrell Dean, ReNae Wilis, w'uo has been visiting with her uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris, Har-ris, returned to Salt; Lake Sunday. Sun-day. Miss Joe Ann Taylor returned Friday from a visit in Pleasant Grove with he,r sister, Mrs. Carl Thompson. The Thompson family fam-ily returned with her to spend the weekend here. James Dean, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Darrell Dean. Mrs. Richard Bingham and daughter, Julie Ann, arrived from Salt Lake Saturday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson. Mr. Bingham joined them during the week. Mrs. Nina Cheney and Mrs. Irene Moffat arrived from Los Angeles Saturday for a visit with M.r. and Mrs. H. W. Davenport. Dav-enport. MSgt. Blaine Tanner left Monday following a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Tanner. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Broome, of Salt Lake, were visitors Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Nielson and family, of Rock Springs, Wyo., visited last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson. Velma Brummett returned Sunday night from Logan, where she attended Girls State as a representative of the Amer- ; ican Legion Auxiliary, Wm. R. Sands Unit 5.
