Show Ballard j Ellen Bracken j Mrs. Keith Snyder and two sons, of Altonah, spent several days during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Mr. and Mrs Walter Bingham and two daughters, ot Salt Lake were also guests at the Bingham home. Mrs Minnie Zufelt has returned return-ed to the Vernal hospital for further medical attention. Mrs. John Birchell's mother, Mrs. Hattie Robb, of Vernal, died last week in a Salt Lake hospital. Funeral services were held in Vernal. Mr and Mrs. A. S. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hous-er Hous-er and families, of Salt Lake City, visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson. John-son. Mrs Jay Murray is staying with her mother, Mrs. Wilma Bingham, while Mr. Murray is in Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger went to Salt Lake June 28, to visit a nephew from Preston, Idaho, before he left for the mission field. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Marx, of Los Angeles, are guests at the home of Mr. Marx's daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Golden Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shisler and Miss Elaine Poulscm, of Duchesne, a 'guest at the Shisler home for the past week, visited Thursday in Vernal with Mrs. Straussie Birchell. Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Pool and small daughter, of Salt Lake City, spent several days last week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken, - Mr. and Mrs. Glen Broderick and baby daughter, of Salt Lake, havp hpon visitine the Farrell Rasmussens. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred, and the Dee Allred family, of Bennett, spent Tuesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn All-red, All-red, on the occasion of Mrs. Allred's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Robinson, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Limb, of Cedar City, are caring for the Marvin Tippets family while Mrs. Tippets is in the Roosevelt hospital with a new son, born Saturday evening. eve-ning. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hadlock and family have moved to Elko, Nev. Mrs. Wilma Bingham went to Oem Friday to attend funeral funer-al services for the two-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Norton, Nor-ton, former Ballard residents. The child died as a result of a car accident. Mrs. E. C. Coston attended a birthday party Thursday afternoon af-ternoon for Mrs. Thomas Ha-len Ha-len of Roosevelt. Mr. and TVirs. urimnaii, men twin sons, a daughter and a niece, from Arizona, attended the wedding reception Friday for Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Brim-hall, Brim-hall, nee Bonnie Hullinger. Other Oth-er out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Geddes and Mr. and Mrs. demons, of Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho. Stephen Eldredge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge, is now working in Salt Lake. Dinner guests June 25 at the Jack Cook home were her sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Lynn Labrum, and family, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Mark Bellon, and family, of Orem; and their father, Dorson Long. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Parrish have purchased the farm on which the Hadlocks had lived for several years. M:s. Pearl Jenkins and son, Junior, who are staying in Salt Lake, spent the weekend here. |
