Show Rhoades Family Holds Reunion Descendants of Thomas and Martha Ann Powell Rhoades held their 1950 family reunion June 25 at the Aspen Grove in the North Fork of the upper Duchesne Du-chesne river. Because of many members of the family living too far away, others working, and a few ill, there were only 30 present this year. The 1951 reunion was tentatively ten-tatively scheduled for around June 18. After a dinner of mutton, supplied sup-plied from the ranch of A. Foster Fos-ter Rhoades and Sons, a short meeting was held, with William Rhoades presiding. The program usually presented during the reunion re-union was omitted this year. The group discussion centered around the importance of gene-ology. gene-ology. Each family was requested request-ed to complete their records, or j bring them up to date. The meeting was concluded with singing, conducted by Myrtle Myr-tle Rhoades, and a report and prayer by A. Foster Rhoades. |
