Show 3 Basin Athletes To Play In Shriner Benefit Three Eastern Utah high . school athletes are in training J here, putting on the finishing touches for the Shrine Coaches Assn., All-Star football game Satrday, Aug. 16, in University of Utah stadium. They are Elvin Rasmussen, tackle, Lyle Edward Snyder, back, from Union High, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; and Donnie J. Barr, back on the Uintah High School team at Vernal. The trio will play on the south team. For the first time in the AU-Star AU-Star Games' history, there will be a basketball game in the Brigham Young University's air-conditioned air-conditioned field house. Class A -Class B schools' aces will meet twice the first game on Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Utah University fieldhouse, and the second match on Friday, Aug. 15, in the. 'Y million dollar plant at Provo. Starting time is 8:15 p. m. t The North-South football classic clas-sic is scheduled for 8 p. m. A mammoth half-time pageant will feature bands and marching units. Tickets are on sale in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Provo, with mail orders being received at Masonic Temple, Salt Lake. Football reserved seats are $2; basketball reserved seats, $1.50 General admission $1, and high school students 50c to any game. |
