Show 4-H Club Work SCISSOR SISTERS LEETON - BENNETT ., The Scissor Sisters 4-H Club met at the home of Larena Hamaker. Present, were Carol Springer, Carol Jean Hall, Larane Long, Catherine Hall and Maxine Taylor. Tay-lor. Next meeting will be held at the home of Larane Long. Maxine Taylor, reporter COOKETTES The Cookettes met for their 9th meeting on August 4 at the home of Lorna Kolgate. We canned apricots , and string-beans. string-beans. We also planned for the encampment.. Neala Schaefermeyer reporter THIMBLE PUSHERS BALLARD We held our meeting at the Ballard Ward church Tuesday. The first-year girls worked on their aprons, the second-year girls sewed shoe bags, and the third-year group worked on their dresses. Present were Mariann Larsen, Lar-sen, president; Karen Gines. vice president; Lonnie Kay Winn, secretary; Clara Betts, reporter; report-er; Celia Kay Jenkins, song leader; Sharon Rasmussen, Colleen Col-leen Squire, Beatrice Angus, Mary Hullinger, Patsy Hullin-ger, Hullin-ger, Lorraine Kettle, Elaine Angus An-gus and Mary Collins. We will hold our next meeting meet-ing at the church, also. Clara Betts, reporter BUSY STITCHERS The Busy Stitchers 4-H Club met at the home of Mrs. Hollis Hullinger, Friday, July 25, at 10 a. m. There were seven members mem-bers "present and one visitor. We worked on dresses, skirts and blouses. Our club met again Wednesday, Wednes-day, July 30, at Mrs. Hullinger's home; with eight nembers present. pres-ent. We continued: working on our articles. On Friday, August 1, we enjoyed en-joyed an outdoor party at the City Park. After playing games we were served cantaloupe ala-mode. ala-mode. The committee in charge included Elva Broderick, Dar-lene Dar-lene Huxford, Fern Young and Valene Timothy. ROSY STITCHERS The Rosy Stitchers 4-H Club held two meetings recently. The July 26th meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Howard Andrews. The girls continued to sew on the party dresses which they are making for the Fair. Lovely refreshments were served by Ida Andrews. Another meeting was held August 1 at the home of Mrs. Edward Yack, where the girls continued their dress making, after which tasty refreshments were served by Jean Roller.
