Show Proclamation Issued By The Ute Tribal Fish And Game Board WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section V of the Ordinance Or-dinance adopted by the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee, Com-mittee, October 9, 1950, the Ute Tribal Fish and Game Board is given authority to make proclamations and to declare seasons on hunting, fishing, bag limits and other regulations, and WHEREAS, the Ute Tribal Fish and Game Board has made due and thorough investigation and received recommendations from the Ute Indians, and now therefore, we the Ute Tribal Fish and Game Board, proclaim that the following regulations be effective this date. " No persons, other than enrolled Ute Indians, shall be allowed al-lowed to fish in any reservation waters without first securing a Ute Tribal fishing license, in addition to a Utah State fishing license. All non-Indians fishing within the boundaries of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation must conform to the rules and regulations governing seasons, hours, daily bag limt, possession limit, etc., as prescribed by the Utah State Fish and Game Commission Com-mission and the Ute Tribal Fish and Game Board. All Uintah and Ouray Reservation waters shall be opened to the Public (holding proper licenses), for fishing, except for the following described area: The Uncompahgre area - (Hill Creek) to include Clear Creek and Florence Creek. Said waters having been closed as a conservation measure, will remain closed until declared, by the Ute Tribal Fish and Game Board as being sufficiently suf-ficiently restocked to warrant re-opening. That no boats, rafts or other floating devices be allowed on any lakes, reservoirs, etc., under the jurisdiction of the Ute Indian In-dian Tribe. v-CERTIFICATION v-CERTIFICATION I, hereby certify that the above resolution was adopted by the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Fish and Game Board at a regular meeting in Fort Duchesne, Utah, on the 22nd day of June, 1954, by a vote of 3 for and 0 against.
