Jerry Carroll, of the Air Force, and stationed at the Low-ery Low-ery Air Force Base near Denver, Den-ver, Colo., spnt from Friday until un-til Monday with his parents, Mr and Mrs. George Carroll. Cpl. Clark Morriss arrived home on July 3rd from Camp Lewis, Wash. His furlough is until July 26th. The Aitonah MIA held a party par-ty . at the Altamont Rodeo grounds, Tuesday evening, July 6th. A ball game and a watermelon water-melon bust were enjoyed by a large group. Mr. and Mrs. Thorald Mecham and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mecham and family, of Pitts-burk, Pitts-burk, Calif., arrived here Saturday Satur-day to visit their father. Geo. Mecham, and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Clin-ton Bowden and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case. Mrs. Bowden and Mr. Case are sister and brother of Mrs. Thorald Mecham. Mrs. Jesse Palm took Mrs. Ty Kolb and son, Donal, to' Roosevelt Saturday, where Donal Don-al received medical care for a dog bite received during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins and daughter, Marsha, left July 8th on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Miss Betty Barnes, of Lean-der, Lean-der, Wyoming, visited her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ol-sen, Ol-sen, several days during the welfk. Charles and Lizzie Bowden, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Doralie Snyder Sny-der and baby, of Washington, and Mrs. Velda Burgess spent Wednesday visiting Mrs. Mary Bowden. |
