Show LeetoivBeoiiet Mrs. Fern Houston WIN BALL GAME Bennett's baseball team travelled trav-elled to Avalon Saturday afternoon after-noon where it pounded out a 17 to 1 victory. This was its first win of the second half schedule. Billy Haslem left Saturday morning with a group of boys from Roosevelt to attend Boys' State at Camp Williams. They will be gone two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem, Otis and Byron Horrocks, Garr Bolton and Frances Bowen attended at-tended the welfare meeting at Roosevelt Saturday evening and later visited with Mrs. Peter Anderson. Mrs. Doris Haslem and Mrs. Joyce Bolton made a trip to Springville Thursday and they returned with some fruit. Dale Nelson who is employed bv the Mt. States Telenhone Co. was sent to Ephraim last week for some relief work. Mrs. Duane Allred of Springville Spring-ville and Mrs. Lynn Labrum of Roosevelt visited last Friday with their Aunt, Mrs. Winfred Lone. |
