Show TRIDELL Doris P. Morrill Dance Directors Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley are the new dance directors for the M.I.A. Maxine Morrill is sports director and Lula Mul-lins Mul-lins and Marie Bartlett are class leaders. Larry and David Cook, of Venice, Calif., are spending the summer here with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Cook. Shardon Morrill was a patient pa-tient last week at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. Wednesday evening after the ball game, the girls' team enjoyed en-joyed a swimming party and weiner roast. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Peece and grandson, Brent, of Vernal, were dinner guests Sunday at the the Dellis Morrill home. The program at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening was presented by those who attended attend-ed Leadership week in Proyo. Speakers were Lela Morrill, Peggy Goodrich, Pauline McCon-kie, McCon-kie, Loye Goodrich, Edith Goodrich Good-rich and .Martha Morrill. Marta Morrill played a piano solo. Dewey McConkie, of Salt Lake City, visited here during the week with his daughter, Mrs. Shardon Morrill, and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kitchen and family, of Mapleton, were Tridell visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich and family. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Giines visited during the week in Prove. Pro-ve. Roger and Gary Mullins, of Farmington, New Mexico, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Mullins, Mul-lins, are visiting with their grandmother, Mrs. Lula Mullins- , , n Charles Bartlett and Merrill Goodrich left Saturday to attend at-tend Boys' State. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carptenter, of Salt Lake City, were dinner guests Thursday at the Owen Goodrich home. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons' Sim-mons' and family visited Sunday Sun-day in Neola at the home of Mr. and Mrs.. Ralph Prescott. TO SERVE ON MISSION Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Omen, who are living' in California, where Mr. Omen is stationed with the U. S. Army, have been called on a stake mission. Mrs. Omen is the former Luan Giines. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem have purchased the Deward Cook home. Mrs. Melvin Kitchen and family fam-ily are visiting in Tridell with relatives. The Boy Scouts, with their leaders, Dellis Morrill and M. I. A. superintendent, Lester Bartlett, enjoyed a four-day camping and fishing trip during dur-ing the week at Blanchard Park. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Merkley Merk-ley and Mrs. Nellie Merkley, of Logan, visited recently with the Clyde Merkley family. Owen, Jack and Merrill Goodrich Good-rich killed a cub bear last week on Mosby Mountain, near their timber camp. |
