Show . i Legion Official j Talks To Kiwanis Members Members of the local Kiwanis Club last night heard a very interesting an informative address add-ress on the functions, objectives and achievements of the American Amer-ican Legion, by the immediate past Department Commander of Utah, William Sutteer, who was the featured speaker at the local lo-cal club meeting held in the Frontier Grill Cafe. Mr. Sutteer was introduced by a former Kiwanian, and newly elected Department vice-commander vice-commander of Utah, W. S. Mur-dock, Mur-dock, who' told of the outstanding outstand-ing record the speaker had made during the past thirteen months he had served the state of Utah. Another Legionnaire who was a special guest was Clarence I. Allred, commander of Basin Post 64. The meeting was conducted by Cliff Memmott, president, and the program was arranged by Floyd Peterson. It was reported re-ported that at least eight Ki-wanians Ki-wanians will go to Salt Lake and Provo today to meet the International president, Donald Forsythe, weekly newspaper publisher of Carthage, 111. |
