Show Raodlett By Mrs. Viola Jensen MIA Has Party The MIA held an Apron and Overall dance Tuesday evening. The crowd gathered at the Le-ota Le-ota ward house. When the music mus-ic failed to come, they jofurney-y jofurney-y ed to the Avalon chapel, where they enjoyed dancing to the music of Wilscon Guttsman, Ed-gard Ed-gard Jensen and Bishop Ralph Durfee. Refreshments were sold. Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough, of Layton, came to" get their daughter, Linda, who has been visiting with relatives here. Lynn and Lloyd O'neil, of Price, have been visiting at the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Ada Pickup, for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor and daughter, Dian, spent the weekend visiting relatives In Clearfield. Miss Velma Pickup attended the 4-H Encampment, held in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kettle and baby son, Mrs. Sylvia , Moore and son, Lynn, took Mrs. Moore's granddaughter home to .' Manila. Miss Swett has been . visiting her grandmother for the past month. The Primary Preparation meeting was held Friday evening eve-ning at the chapel, with Donna Pickup conducting. Mrs. Venice Durfee gave a very interesting lesson to' those present, and the Sunday evening program was planned. ' Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harris and two daughters, of Los An-'. An-'. geles, were Sunday visitors at J the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank', McMullen. I Mr. and Mrs. Ren Barney, of j Provo, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fahy Durfee. Mrs. Barney is Mrs. Durfee's oldest sister. I Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barney and children, of Provo, were Mrs. Ray Barney. I |
