Show flecta Zola Spencer Wreck Car On Trip To Chicago Mr. and Mrs. Bill Oberhansly have gone to Chicago to vist their daughter, Elma and husband. While there they met with a car accident. Neither was injured, but their car was completely demolished. demol-ished. The Oberhanslys sent word to their relatives .that they would have to get a new car before re-returning re-returning home. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Mills were Mr. and Mrs. Gladen Russell and two small sons from Roy. Mrs. Russell's mother, Alice McGuire, and her father, Charles Htucheons of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mills, and Mr. and Mrs. Claire Mills, and Mrs. Kennetth Allred, a sister of Mis. Mills, were also visitors at the Mills home. Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Peterson made a quick trip to Richfield last Tuesday evening. They received re-ceived word that her mother, Mrs. Rose'Levi, was seriously ill. They returned home Saturday and reported re-ported she was much better. Mrs. Levi spent considerable time in Neola this summer with the Petersons. MAKE A QUILT Friday a quilting bee was held at the home of Alice Olsen for Toni Gardner. Those who participated partici-pated in the making of two quilts were Toni Gardner, Alice Olsen, Jennie 'Woodward, Margarete Dye, Mrs. Daze Mitchell, Geneva Whiting Whit-ing and Zola Spencer. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. SPEAK IN CHURCH Speakers at Neola Sacrament services Sunday evening were Mrs. Lawrence Luck, Mollie Spencer Spenc-er and three deacons, Mardon Spencer, Steven Malnar and David Duncan. Visiting over the weekend at the home of Mr a.nd Mrs. Squire Mangum were three daughters-in-law, while their husbands went deer hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mangum of California have been visiting here. He wilL return to his duties in the Navy at Alameda. His wife will remain here and visit until he returns for his next leave. Other Mangum visitors are James Mangum who is in the Air Force. He will return this week to the Suez Canal. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph S. Mangum and two sons and two daughters are here from New Mexico. Mr. Mangum went deer hunting with his sons. Harvey Riggles Sr. of California, father of Harvey Riggles, is here for a two-week visit. He went deer hunting with his son and Willis Blank. Mrs. Riggle took her year book class to Provo and back last Saturday. |
