Show Instructors Chosen For University Of Scouting Twelve instructors have been sel--1 ected to staff thet University of Scouting slated to begin Thursday, Thurs-day, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Altamont High School, according accord-ing to James E. . Bacon, 1956 University of Scouting Chairman. Listed as instructors are: Wilmer Murray, Myton, for Cub Scouting; Rowan C. Stutz, Duchesne, for Boy Scouting;. Max R. Todd, Roosevelt, Roose-velt, for Exploring; Mrs. Viola Harrison, Roosevelt, for the Guide Patrol Course;. Spencer Squire Roosevelt, for the Commissioner course; and Elvin O. Barker, Duchesne, Du-chesne, for the District Committee Course. Selected as assistant instructors are six additional scouters: Mrs. Anna Murray, Myton, in the Cub department; Ray E. Warner, Duchesne, Du-chesne, for the Boy Scouts; Har- old Timothy, Roosevelt, in Exploring; Explor-ing; James E. Bacon, Roosevelt, for Guide Patrol; Leo Haueter, Myton, for commissioners; and Glen E. Mohlman, Altamont and Floyd W. Labrum, Roosevelt, in the District Committee. Orientation Meeting An orientation meeting of the instructors in-structors was held last Thursday, October 19, with all but two present, pre-sent, reported Mr. Bacon. Registration fee for the six week training course designed to train all the adult leaders in the scouting program has been set at 500. ' Those with one or more training certificates are urged to attend the 1956 University of Scouting as there will be a place for them, continued Scouter Bacon.
