Mrs. Zella Pike Pr mary president, conducted the service. A display of the manv articles the different classes had made during the summer were viewed by the parents Clarence Murray made a business trip to Salt Lake lasc week-end. The Primary children were honored at a party held Sept 1. All who had a birthday during dur-ing August were special guests and a birthday cake, cup cakes and ice cream were served to all. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Broul: spent last weekend at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Alfred Harris, whose husband has been seriausly ill and was taken tc Salt Lake. Mrs. Brough cared for their infant daughter. The missionaries presented the program in Sacrament meeting meet-ing last Sunday. Esther Merkley and Allen Jones sang, and Mr and Mrs. Clyde Merkley and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jones sang a quartet number. School began Sept. 2 at what was formerly the Whiterocks Boarding School. For the first time a bus load -of children from Tridell are coming here to attend at-tend the school, which has an enrollment of about 180 children. chil-dren. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Goulding lost quite a few of their personal per-sonal belongings, including thei-bed thei-bed and bedding, in a fire which destroyed the tent where they were living. Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Harvey, Flora and Sherlene, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Workman and two children were entertained at a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hoopes Sunday. The occasion celebrated Mrs. Work man's birthday. j Mr and Mrs. Francis Crou-ger, Crou-ger, of Neola, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burton and son, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley and Mrs. Nellie Merkley, of Tridell were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith on Sunday. Mrs. Elsie Twitchell visited in Ogden last week. Her daughter, Mrs. Enid Montes had visited here a few days, and Mrs. Twif-chell Twif-chell returned with her. |
