Show ARCADIA I Mrs. Elsie Bird 4-H Boys Rate High At Fair We are very proud of our 4-H boys and girls who entered their livestock in the County Fair. Several won blue ribbons, and Clifton Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Larsen, won the beauty prize on his- calf. Marion Ross and Charlie Bird were transacting business in Salt Lake City during the week. Mrs. Marvin G. Shields attended at-tended funeral services for Homer Weeks at Altonah on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McKenna spemt the weekend in Salt Lake Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans, Garn, Gale and Jack Gilbert attended funeral services for I Holmer Weeks Saturday. The Gilbert boys rendered a quartet. I Mr. and Mrs. David Hugely, of Salt Lake City, are visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Keller. -The infant son of Mr. and Mrs Max Mullins was blessed in Fast Meeting, Sunday. The name he was given was Kenneth. Ken-neth. Mrs. Lula Mullins. Mrs. Martha Mar-tha Shanks and Miss Grace Mor-rell, Mor-rell, of Roosevelt, were present to see Mrs. Mullins' grandson blessed. Mrs. Gladys Bell is teaching at Altamont again this year. Max Ross and Eldon Thompson Thomp-son are the bus drivers for Arcadia Ar-cadia and Midview. Mrs. Rose Gilbert returned Thursday from Wichita. Kansas where she has been visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Murphy. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and daughter, Clairine, returned Sunday from a vacation in California. Cal-ifornia. They were oyernight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. |
